76% of Vietnamese crypto holders invest based on referrals — Report
Over three-quarters of Vietnamese crypto holders make financial investment choices through friends referrals.Thats according to an Aug. 30 report by Vietnamese venture capital companies Kyros Ventures and Coin68, along with Animoca Brands. In the 3,300-participant study, 75.5% of participants confessed being “influenced by recommendations or suggestions” regarding crypto investing. The quantity is 2.5 times greater than reported in the U.S.Self-study, neighborhood groups, and media news were the biggest sources of info for Vietnamese crypto investors, with nearly one in two electing such methods.The H1 2023 Vietnam Crypto Market Report also discovered that 70% of participants believed the bear market was already over or nearing its end. 75% of respondents desired more regulative intervention in the crypto sector.As per Chainalysis, Vietnam is currently the leading country in the world in terms of crypto adoption and second in decentralized financing (DeFi), with over 19% of grownups owning digital properties. Regardless of this, just nine Vietnamese academic organizations offer blockchain courses, and only 8 blockchain infrastructure tasks exist within the Southeast Asian country. Vietnamese crypto users value the self-custodial nature of DEXs alongside the liquidity on central exchanges.
