Dairy Queen opens NFT pop-up store in China
Dairy Queen is partnering with local nonfungible token project Weirdo Ghost Gang (WGG) to develop a pop-up NFT store in Chengdu, China.According to a press release seen by Cointelegraph, the “Ice and Snow Season” themed pop-up store is scheduled to run from Nov. 15 to Dec. 31 and will include a variety of co-branded merchandise, such as a Dairy Queen-WGG themed ice cream. (Source: Wikipedia)” Beyond merely showcasing Dairy Queens continuous efforts in brand-new media digital marketing, this collaboration likewise serves to provide customers a more nuanced understanding of the NFT art IP, WGG, resulting in enhanced experiences and connections,” the release states. In August, WGG introduced the “City Party Map – Shanghai Station” event with regional food seller Jiujiu Duck Neck to offer discounts for NFT holders at more than 200 of its retail shops.
