Mixin Network hack drains $200M from mainnet assets

Mixin Network designated blockchain private investigator SlowMist in addition to Google to help investigate the hack as the Mixin team attempts a recovery. Decentralized peer-to-peer network Mixin Network has lost roughly $200 million in a hack involving the compromise of the database of a third-party cloud service provider.On Sept. 25, Mixin Network validated that a hack conducted 2 days earlier– on Sept. 23– drained approximately $200 million worth of crypto properties from its mainnet.
